Working on the FedEx brand was always a multidisciplinary engagement.  I loved taking a very corporate brand  and revitalizing their creative into  fun and exciting designs.  When we strategically developed their new store design based on these guiding principles. 
Guiding principles, based on research findings
Point of Entry 
Invite customers into the center, while providing clear direction and an easy path to each area.
Navigation/Wayfinding 
Make messaging descriptive and simple, retaining its position at the top of the communication hierarchy.
Computer Rental 
Optimize the customer experience with private work areas that can accommodate current technology and work surfaces.
Retail 
Offer a curated set of impulse products that align with the brand and support core services: printing, packing and shipping.
Pack & Ship Full-Service 
Maintain the impact of Pack Plus (store within a store), enhance the shipping message and speak to each customer segment 
(fully prepped, semi-prepped and un-prepped).
Pack & Ship Self-Service 
Guide customers through the process with easy access to organized packaging and simple-to-follow shipping instructions.
Print Full-Service 
Increase customer awareness of specific print products with simple messaging, and inspire customers with a full range of print samples.
Print Self-Service 
Create an approachable, clearly defined area, guide customers through the process with easy instructions, and offer ample privacy and space to work.
Team Member Area 
Give team members a positive and supportive environment with comfortable, functional spaces.
